Sunday at Ardingley

Miserable start to the day. Rain drizzling and it was dull and overcast. However, we took Daisy & Jack to the Ardingley show. We arrived to find that we had just missed Sue and Margaret win Best of Breed in the Welsh Terrier Class. There wasn't as many dogs there as I had expected so Sue had gone in the ring a lot earlier than I had anticipated. Maybe the weather had put a lot of people off.

We met up with Robin and Janet with Seb, but missed Chris & Mr Chris Amos with Tallie. Did a bit of shopping and had the obligatory bacon roll and coffee, which was very expensive! .

As usual, there were lots of nice comments about all the dogs and Sue handed out some Weltos Cards.

Just as we decided to come home, the sun started to shine. What a different day it would have been if the sun had decided to show itself earlier.

The Pimms stall was empty. A lot of the wares for sale were a bit soggy. The dogs had to show under a large roofed area but it all lacked ambience. Had they all been out in the open it would have been so much better.

Congatulations go to Sue and Margaret. Lots of hard work goes into showing a Welsh. Margaret was trimmed out beautifully and looked really good!

We had a lovely ramble in Chelsfield in October on a lovely warm dry day. The ramble took us through some woods and had some viewpoints...
