It's Snowing!!!!

Took Daisy and Jack over to Lower Haysden Country Park this morning. Had a nice bacon and egg roll, then went for a delightful walk around the lake. Got some nice comments about their coats. Did you venture out in the snow? Have you taken some snow pics? Don't forget we need some good pics for next year's c alendar so start snapping and send me the results!

How lovely and cosy your two look in their lovely coats! Whilst walking to get a paper this morning, saw a poor old Lakeland (12 years old) shivering outside a shop whilst waiting for his owner. He could have done with a coat on! It annoys me when people comment ... 'dogs have fur and as animals don't need a coat'...Well, I am sorry but wild dogs and wolves who live outside maybe used to it but not dogs who are acclimatised to living in a house with central heating !!

Just to let you know the name of another dog friendly pub local to you. The Rose and Crown, Otford Lane, Halstead. Although, too cold at the moment, in the summer, they have a lovely garden at the back. Have a nice fire, doggy bowl with water in it by the bar, and the (human) food is very good value!
