Sunday Ramble In The Sun

The sun was out, the sky was blue, what a beautiful day for a ramble. I was told that the walk in Knole Park was really enjoyable. And no dogs ate any deer droppings! I thought the landlady and staff at The Bucks Head were really accommodating and the food was delicious. David and I have used this pub before, but have never been able to sit in the garden which was really nice. We would certainly go back. How lucky were we to have such a beautiful day? Great big thanks to The "Chris Double Act" for organising it so well.

Chris Amos writes: Thank you very much for supporting the ramble today. I hope everyone enjoyed the day as much as Chris and I did. Tallie and Jasper certainly did and are now crashed out in the cool at home. I already have an idea for another ramble which I've asked Lynn and Pete if they would check out for us as it is in their neck of the woods. Also could I have your thoughts ( plus that of our other members) on the possibility of doing a ramble on a weekday instead of a Sunday? Thank you again for your support and company. Chris

Hi Pat,

It was good to see you at the pub, shame you were out action for the walk. It was a lovely walk all the dogs behaved themselves and the weather was beautiful. Big thanks to Mr and Mrs Chris for organising the walk and the pub.

Hopefully by the next ramble you'll back to full health. Keep your foot up and rest.

See you soon

Jan

Hi Pat,

It was good to meet up with you and everyone today. Lovely weather and walking conditions and an excellent Pub meal. Our thanks to Chris for the organisation.

We hope your foot recovers quickly from the op. so that you can resume normal service.

I enclose pic of our lovely static terrier - making himself useful guarding the CD player handset!

Love and best wishes,

Ian & Angela

Editors Note: I don't know what these two are doing but they're looking younger each time I see them.

We had a lovely ramble in Chelsfield in October on a lovely warm dry day. The ramble took us through some woods and had some viewpoints...
