Hells mouth (Porth Neigwl) when the waves had quietened down.

We have returned from a weeks break on the LLyn Peninsula. The home of the Welsh Terrier. The week started off well with a walk along Porth Neigwl (Hells Mouth) watching the surfers, the waves were huge. Last time we were there old Meg and Willow had a lovely run along the beach.T his time it was Old Willow and Izzy. Willows Old bones seem to like walking in the sand.

Next day we walked the coast path at Whistling Sands (Porth Or), Would like to say they did whistle, but are not allowed on the beach. A trip onto Snowdonia saw us at Beddgelert walking in the Aberglaslyn valley, where we bumped into an Airedale.

Then came the three named storms, luckily they were worse overnight. A walk along Abersoch beach gave our faces a sand blasting and that really did hurt.

Our cottage was lovely with thick walls and under floor heating. Very cosy when the wind was blowing 60-70mph. Will we go back to Wales?? You bet!

Us in the Village of Beddgelert, then we found this bench outside a siop (shop) if we could have put it on the roof of the case we would have bought it home.

We had a lovely ramble in Chelsfield in October on a lovely warm dry day. The ramble took us through some woods and had some viewpoints...
