Alokin Touch of Frost aka Kevin

Enid Southgate:

Pat, so that you can tell the members who told me their W.T. was a Kevin pup, sadly, we had to do the right thing and let him go,. He was a very poorly boy, 13yrs 8mths and worn out . We had him just about on his 11th birthday and in that 2yrs and 5 months, we have loved and pampered him. He has been my constant companion. He went peacefully to sleep in my arms. He can join with his generic "uncle" my lovely "Smudge" over the rainbow bridge in doggie heaven. It's ironic that he is the April dog on our club calender. Thanks for your help over the years, I'm not ready for another rescue at the moment!! Enid

Enid, so sorry to hear your sad news. Kevin was very lucky to live with you in his final years.

Take care.

I would like to pass on my condolences to you Enid. My heart breaks for you, but Kevin had a wonderful time with you even if it was short. My Very Best Wishes to you.

Richard and I are so very sorry to hear your news Enid. We were delighted to meet Bertie's father, Kevin, at some of the Weltos events. He was a lovely dog and was so obviously having a wonderful life with you both. Our thoughts are with you. Best Wishes.

Lynn French writes:

Thank you for letting us know. So sorry to hear the news about the lovely Kevin. He had a wonderful last couple of years. He was one of Sally Poole's wasn't he? (Editors Note: Yes he was. Sally, over the years, had built up a wonderful line in her Alokin dogs. Pure quality! Lots of us had an Alokin in our dog's pedigree.

Our Best Wishes to you Enid, we are thinking of you.

Nicola Gee writes:

Oh how sad but lovely Enid felt strong enough to do the right thing. What a good age Kevin was.

Sandra Kisby writes:

So sorry to hear that Kevin has passed over and my thoughts are with you at this sad time.. How wonderful that he went to sleep in your arms and his memories will have been of very happy years spent with you. What a wonderful age he was I only hope I can do as well with my Bertie and know when the time is right to make the ultimate loving decision.

We had a lovely ramble in Chelsfield in October on a lovely warm dry day. The ramble took us through some woods and had some viewpoints...
