Jim Crummey sent through this lovely photo

of Lilah. It was taken by their groomer and they liked it so much they sent it to their local

printers to turn into Christmas Cards -

Lilah is looking very smart!

Enid Southgate sent me a lovely letter:

This is Kevin's favourite toy but it had to be restuffed

(it smelled) I've done this 4 times! He sits and watches me

put the new stuffing in and sew up the suit, Kev's nose is

so close sometimes he could get pricked!

This is Rosie with her Christmas bow at Hylands Park on a lovely frosty morning. The log is where we scattered Kobi's ashes so we often stop by to say hello.

David Morgan sent these great photos and the following story:

We went to the Welsh Terrier Club Show in Polesworh in August, entering the fun lunchtime session.

Our children gave me a ceramic model of Jack for my birthday in October-so lifelike including kink in tail—they submitted 50 photos for the artist to work from and there were two ‘fittings ‘ on - line before they accepted.

Highlight of the year was as follows.

Took Jack to a dog club for an afternoon’s run with other dogs and we went to collect at just after 4.00pm.

The proprietor, a highly experienced and respected guy, turned up in his Transit van, stepped out , shut the door leaving the van running whilst he shut a five bar gate.

In the front of the van were Jack, another Welsh terrier and a French bulldog.

In the rear in crates were five other dogs who were due to be delivered to their owners’ homes.

The French bulldog started bouncing side to side and hit the lock button by the side window.

The proprietor didn’t have a spare key and the van hire company had closed at 4 o’clock! The landowner couldn’t help.

What to do? Jack, who goes to dog training every weekend, can do a number of tricks.

I went to the side and front windows of the Transit and called Jack who pushed the lively French bulldog out of the way.

I showed him a piece of sausage through the window and called out ‘paws up ‘ and ‘high five’ .

He responded and his raised paw came

down on the open button. Hey Presto!

Much relieved proprietor who would otherwise have had to call a locksmith.

What a breed!

What a fantastic story David - I remember seeing Jack do some of his tricks in the pub, he really was the saviour of the day - thank you for sharing!
