Knole Park, with its sprawling acres of majestic deer-filled parkland and ancient woodlands, nestled amidst the rolling hills of Kent, offered the perfect setting for our February Ramble

It was lovely to see so many members turn out for a cold Sunday morning ramble.

After weeks of rain we were lucky to have a Sunday that remained mainly dry. The wind was bracing so we set of at a steady pace to try to keep warm.

We had some guests join us on Sunday - Chris Amos's Daughter in Law with her Airedale and a friend with her Wire Fox Terrier.

Bobbi was very interested in the deer!

Janice Chamberlain sent me the following message:

Thought you might like to post this portrait  I have had done of the girls. One of the girls in our local coffee shop is so talented ,so we asked her to do a pencil drawing of the girls.  We can't take our eyes off it.

I think its beautiful and you can really see their characters!

My Rosie is an Exxex Therapy Dog and along with coming along with me to deliver sessions at Essex Libraries she had been visiting Joan who is 100 years old and lives near our dog sitter. She visited weekly, until Joan recently had to go into a care home - Rosie loved visiting Joan as she always had lots of treats for her!

I have to say that Rosie is pretty amazing during the sessions and everyone says how calm she is - even when she gets her ears and tail pulled - if only they saw the other side of her when her prey drive kicks in!

This is Rosie's favourite position at home checking the walls for mice!

Happy Easter Everyone - please send me pictures of your dogs and what you have been upto!
