On Sunday 19th September a small group of Weltos members met up at Greenwich Park for a walk around the park followed by lunch in the Railway Pub at Blackheath.

It was lovely for David Meecham and his family to join us for a short walk around the park then over Blackheath for a well deserved drink and lunch.

Luckily the rain held off while we were walking but a few of us got a good soaking heading back to the car!

Simon Clough missed us in the park but followed our walk with various people remarking on seeing another Welsh Terrier and sending him in our direction, he finally tracked us down in the pub and joined us for lunch.

Sorry David Morgan - I chopped your head off!

We also welcomed new members Mackenzie and Nick owned by Claus who live locally and luckily bumped into Sandra and Bertie on a morning walk:

We look forward to arranging more rambles, with a pub stop as a way of keeping in touch, so if you know of a good walk that would work for a group of Welsh Terriers with a dog friendly pub nearby then please let me know and we can work together to organise one.

We had a lovely ramble in Chelsfield in October on a lovely warm dry day. The ramble took us through some woods and had some viewpoints...
