Earlier this year Chris Amos went visiting....
Hi Mandy,
We visited the National Memorial Arboretum in Alerwras, Staffordshire yesterday. Of course I had to take a picture at the Welsh Guards memorial.! It's very dog friendly here and also very sobering when you see all the thousands of names on the Remembrance Wall of men and women from all the services who have lost their lives whilst serving. The grounds are beautifully laid out and if anyone is in this part of the world it's worth a visit.
Can't believe how lucky we are with this beautiful weather. Caravanning at its best 😁

Happy Birthday Willow - Janice Chamberlain
A Pic. of Willow in her buggy in our local Park.
Willow was 16 on Friday the 8th of July, she needs a helping hand these days but likes to be out and about early mornings in her buggy.
This hot weather isn't very dog friendly or humans so we were at the park at 6:45 am this morning.

Liz Jones sent photos of Dennis, her fabulous 5 year old WT
One, sheltering from the sun in the garden, one when we had walked down onto the beach at Rhossili Bay- he loves the beach but hates the sea !! The last one where we stayed in a flat in Minehead on the promise Dennis would not go on the furniture.

Dennis obeying the rules Welshie style!
Comment : Some of you may have trained your Welshie's not to go on the furniture but our Rosie does not understand this rule and always makes herself at home!
We had a visitor this weekend, I opened the back door and just sat down with a cup of tea when a flash of blue went past and a Kingfisher settled on one of our high beams. Unfortunately for him he then tried to fly back out but stunned himself on the window. Luckily Rosie was still fast asleep on our bed upstairs.
We have lived in Bradwell for 3 years now and have been told that there are Kingfishers by the river but we have never been lucky enough to see one so it was a pleasure to see such a beautiful bird up close. We put him outside and he flew off after a few minutes.

Hope to see some of you on our Ramble on Sunday 25th September
