Weltos Ramble 25th September 2022

Roadworks on the A21 made a delayed start to our ramble at Haysden Country Park but the cafe provide safe haven for us while waiting :

It was a lovely late summer's day and we went back to the cafe for refreshments.

Claus's favourite position is to be held upside down - Brac wanted to see what was going on!

David and Jan Morgan were unable to join us for the ramble as Jack is convalescing after having a benign growth removed from his left rear leg. Stitches and cone removed on 14th day after op. His appetite remained good throughout but not his humour! Jack is ok now.

Congratulations to Shannon and Nick Santangelo who had a baby boy Gabriel on Friday 19th August 2022 - Shannon sent this message:

Gabe made quite the entrance, as he arrived 10 days past his due date and my labour was less than 4 hours and progressed so quickly we didn’t have time to make it to the birthing centre. Gabe arrived in the bathroom of our flat and it was a true family affair, with Toby sat with Nick, guarding the bathroom door and then Toby hopped up on the side of the bathtub as Gabe’s head appeared. As it was an unplanned home birth the paramedics had to come and take us to the hospital, but we were all happy and healthy. We’ve all been adjusted to life as a family of 4 and Toby has been the best big brother ever!

We’ve been conscious of not leaving Toby out and making sure he still has all of the attention and belly rubs he could ask for. 😍

And of course I couldn’t not share a few photos of Gabe’s favourite outfits…one of these is a bit too big to wear yet, but he’ll be growing into it in no time!

I also included a few photos of my adventures with Toby during the Queen’s Jubilee back in June of this year. We went down to Buckingham Palace early one morning and everyone wanted a photo of Toby with his little Union Jack bandana.
