Summer Party!

We all had a lovely time on Sunday at our Weltos Summer Party! It was nice to go back to Leyton Cross Hall which has had a revamp since our last meeting there. Walls had been painted, kitchen updated and the outside area is now fenced off making it secure from the upgraded parking area.

After a lovely lunch we ventured outside to tackle Chris's agility course. In two teams we raced against each other - some of our dogs are definitely more skilled at agility than others! The winners of each race then raced against each other ending in a race off between Kaye Attoe - with Teddy and Tony Attoe - with Maisie. It was a close race with Maisie being our star agility dog.

Chris had also set us some more challenging games:

In one hand we had to hold a ladle with a tennis ball along with our dogs lead and race in relay up and down the area. Then we had to race with our dog to use a spatula to collect and return as many dog biscuits as we could whilst stopping our dogs eating them. Rosie had a great time hoovering up the dropped biscuits!

Chris also did some judging for us as the winners were:

Brac - (who owns Neil & Jane Stokes) - Worst behaved Dog

The afternoon finished enjoying Kaye's lovely cakes and scones with some fun crosswords and quizzes.
