Well we must have picked one of the hottest days of summer to hold our summer party! Thank you to all those who braved the heat to join us.
Chris Amos gave a great demonstration on how to trim our fur babies, followed by lunch and desert.

I hope everyone enjoyed the day!
Jan Chamberlain sent the following:
Morning Mandy, Our thanks go to you and Kaye for your hard work yesterday. Not forgetting Chris of course. Boy it was hot both inside and out, outside we had the fling ants to contend with.
Both dogs slept like babies all evening. Good to see old and new members and baby Gabe has got a fan club.
Thanks again

David Morgan sent the following message:
Jack and I really enjoyed ourselves yesterday. Excellent buffet and fun games . Please thank all those who supported you.
Jack and his owner were feeling their age and the heat!
Thought you might like to see this picture of Jack having cut out daughters lawn!
Warm regards

The Day I ate the crisps!
We had a very exciting time at Sheffield Park recently. The hoos say I engineered the whole thing but I say I was in the right place at the right time.We had a lovely walk around the park and I bravely navigated the weir bridge (I’m not too keen on running water). I had a great adventure going up to the historic cricket pitch before it was time for a picnic. Everything was removed from the picnic bag. I wandered around to have a look and before I knew it there were crisps raining down around me! The hoos had failed to think through where my lead was and as I had walked around it had swept the open crisps off the bench and directly into my path! Happy dog and panicked hoos. They say this is up there with the snaffling of the egg sandwiches but I say that this was luck whilst I properly planned the sandwich heist!
