We had a lovely ramble in Chelsfield in October on a lovely warm dry day. The ramble took us through some woods and had some viewpoints for great views across London and a memorial to a young pilot who lost his life in WWII.
We had a superb lunch in the 5 Bells pub where the owners were really welcoming to us, all dogs were well behaved even Rosie who was secured firmly in place under my chair! Bobbi made herself comfortable laying in the centre of the gangway - her favourite place.
We wandered back a slightly longer way passing a beautiful Norman Church. Rosie was obviously in a good mood as she and Bobbi had a lovely play, chasing each other and bum bumping! Thank you Chris A for arranging and to all members who came along.
New Members:
Ian & Julie Shelley who are owned by Rusty have joined our lovely club after bumping into Lynne French in Deal. They were able to join our ramble in Chelsfield and enjoyed themselves so will be coming along to our Christmas Ramble/AGM on 24th November.
Julie sent me this photo of Rusty very proudly holding his catch:

His expression says 'its mine and your not having it!'
We have also been contacted by Ros Burnard who we hope will join our group - Ros has three Welshies - Beetle, Blossom and Little Nan - Ros sent the following: We now have a hat-trick! Blossom had a litter early in July and we hand reared Little Nan from day 5 (at 40g). It wasn't our original plan but we can't bear to part with her!

Teeth Cleaning
At Rosie's health check the vet suggested that her teeth needed cleaning - this would involve going under anesthetic so I contacted a local company that uses ultrasound, which is noise and vibration free all within a stress free environment taking their time to ensure the dogs are relaxed throughout the process - I was a bit sceptical as to whether Rosie would accept this process and did ask if they used metal gloves incase she bit them! All went well....
These were the before and after photos:
I look forward to seeing some of you at our Christmas Ramble and AGM on Sunday 24th November in Greenwich Park.
